Entering the millennium era, PT Pos Indonesia continues to grow. PT Pos Indonesia’s profits have increased in the last 3 years. According to the Director of Finance & Risk Management of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero), Endy PR Abdurrahman, for the last 3 years, PT Pos Indonesia’s net profit has continued to rise.
It was recorded, in 2020 PT Pos Indonesia scored a net profit of IDR 325 billion, in 2021 it rose to IDR 590 billion and closing in 2022 a profit position of IDR 635 billion.
Reflecting on this financial condition, Endy PR Abdurrahman targets PT Pos Indonesia to achieve a net profit of 1 trillion in 2025.
Looking at 2025, Endy PR Abdurrahman emphasized that PT Pos Indonesia has a target to conduct an initial public offering (Initial Public Offering / IPO).
“The plan (IPO) is like that, so hopefully with these bonds the journey will be better, so that Pos will be encouraged to run the company with better governance. In that way, we hope to become a leader in the market and the target is of course an IPO in 2025,” said Endy PR Abdurrahman in Market Buzz Power Breakfast IDX, Wednesday (4/1/2023).
In addition to increasing net profit, PT Pos Indonesia has also succeeded in earning 500 billion in revenue after issuing bonds on December 29, 2022. In fact, the excess demand for bonds from investors reached 1.6 trillion.
PT Pos Indonesia also has several other capitals that are expected to make the IPO in 2025 a success. It was stated that PT Pos Indonesia has 4 types of business portfolio, namely financial services business, courier services, logistics services, and property services.
